| This species is now
endangered in its whole distribution. On the Cook Islands it is even
believed to be extinct at all. Liparis clypeolum is a small terrestrial orchid with about 2 cm long pseudobulbs. Every bulb has only one ca. 5 cm long, heart-shaped leaf. The inflorescens is about 15 cm tall and has some ten 1 cm large, green flowers. The leaf dies after the pollination. |
