Rakahanga

In the south are the islets te Motu o Takaia as well as te Kainga, westerly of them is the so called boat passage, also in the west is the western offshoot of the largest island, named Tetaha Kiraro.
In the north is the northeast part of the largest island, named Tetukono together with two smaller islands, Motutapu and Motu o Miritau.
In the east, from north to south, Te Motu o Tati, Te Motu o Umurua, Akaro, Motu Ngangie, Hunanui, Motu Mahuta, Motu Okakara, Piraungoio as well as a part of the above-mentioned Tetukono.

The flora of the Rakahanga atoll produces 31 native plant species.
