Hiti

The shape of this uninhabited circular atoll is typically for the atolls of the central Tuamotu archipelago. In the north resp. north east it is relatively small and contains of wooded motus, the southern part in contrast is a much broader and mostly immersed.

The motus in the north and northwest form together a land area of only 1,5 kmē. The lagoon by contrast has a size of 29 kmē. There is no channel to connect the lagoon with the ocean.
