Makaroa

The island of Makaroa lies in the southern part of the Gambier Archipelago close to the islands of Kamaka (middle below), Manui (middle right) and Motu Teiku (middle above).

Makareoa has an area of only some 200 m
sq, but nevertheless rises 138 m above the sea level.
