The atoll consists of only three barely separated motus, of which one constitutes almost the whole area of land, and the other two are perfectly tiny. There is no navigable passage from the ocean into the lagoon. The water of this lagoon on the other hand is very shallowly and the lagoon is in the process to dry out. The atoll is said to be uninhabitet, but may be looked up by inhabitants from neighbouring atolls for copra harvesting. |
