Vahitahi

The Vahitahi atoll is, measured from west to east, about 5 km long.

The southern half of the atoll consists of a relatively broad submerged reef flat, several sandbanks as well as about nine, partly tiny motus.

The northern part is formed by five larger and two very large motus.

In the northern part of the lagoon, which is not connected with the open sea, lies a very small islet.
